Good morning! ... from my neighbourhood friendly Internet cafe
I am sitting in the corner of the cafe, at 6:30pm Dubai-time, watching people go by while waiting for Julie and Benjamin to wake up back in Vancouver.
The place is almost deserted since today was declared a 'National Holiday' because of George Bush's visit to Dubai. I heard through the grapevine that some people said this extra day off was the best thing Bush ever did for them!
I have set up my computer, complete with speakers and webcam, in the corner where there is a plug. Thank goodness I remembered to take the plug converter along as well!
It is almost 7:00pm now . Benjamin is just about to wake up. I'm really excited about seeing him and Julie via the webcam. The world of electronics definitely has its good sides!

Hi Diane, WOW, you are going to get used to all that opulence and not want to come home ever.....except to see our boy, of course. Looks like all is falling into place for the next couple of months. Enjoy.
