The view from my living room balcony, facing East

View to the South.
You see the little low rise beige buildings between the red top construction and the patch of green on the right? Those are the villas where the 'office' is. It is a 5 minutes walk from here. Another 5 minutes walk to the right (middle of this photo) is the Marina's little shops district where I go for groceries, coffee, etc.

What you see going across the water to the left is the "Trunk' of the Jumeirah Palm Island
Oh, and those buildings, all cramped together along the way, those are mansions worth millions of dollars each.
For the life of me, I can't imagine who in their right mind whould buy a 3 (and up) million dollars home with neighbours right in your face and in your backyard like this...

And far into the distance -you can see the huge 'Burj Al Arab' hotel in the shape of a sail.
How cool is this?!!!
