Ah! and finally, Dubai....

We landed in Dubai at 10:30pm local time

Although it looked and sounded chaotic, the passport control process was very efficiently done - mostly by 'Emiratee' women no less!
I tried to take a picture of the clock but it was too bright; so the photo unfortunately doesn't show the big ROLEX name across it. This was my introduction to the new - Star Wars' like, no man's land Las Vegas for the ultra rich (but without all the sex selling features) - Dubai!
One thing is for sure: It is certainly no longer the Dubai I had left 22 years ago....

A great government taxi fleet got us out of the airport and to our hotel in a speedy and a tadd noisy for my sleepy head but logistically extraordinarily well orchestrated mad dance, that was like a "Spectacular, Spectacular" show in my overly tired and dazed consciousness!

And... home at last! - The Dubai Internet City Holiday Inn
